Over the last several years, along with the substantial growth and popularity of the world wide web, free product samples have become more and more plentiful. Many of you are already fully well aware of what free samples are and other are a bit unfamiliar. Either way, one thing is for sure, you are all here to learn new and better ways of gathering these freebies.

While we will go over the three best methods of obtaining free product samples in this article, we should first begin with the reason why most of these samples are legitimate and why so many companies have begun to so eagerly make them available to you and others like you.

Just for your information free product samples, at least those that are legitimate, are usually distributed directly by the manufacturer of the sampled product. You may be wondering why a company would do such a thing. How can a company give away there products for free? The truth is that this is done as a form of new age advertising. You see by suppling the public with free product samples they are making potential customers aware of their newest product lines. This has been done for years in the form of television and radio commercials and even billboards. It seems that online product samples are just an more cost effective and efficient way to accomplish the same goal.

Though all of the legitimate product samples are delivered directly from the manufacturer, there are many freebies that are offered by third party companies. Although there are a few real samples that can be found this way, the majority of them are either scams or not worth your time, let me explain. There are many companies online that will offer you free samples and either want you to fill out long surveys or try to steal your information. Either way, these are not worth requesting. Even if a company claims that all you will need to do is fill out a survey in order to get your sample, it could take hours and that is not something that many people are willing to give up so much of their time for a simple travel sized sample of a product, no matter what it is.

When it comes to avoiding websites that are trying to steal your personal information, there are certain things that you can keep in mind to help you avoid these scams. For example, what does a company need in order to send you a free product sample? They will usually need your name and address, sometime your email. That is all that is needed. If you are requesting a sample and the company asks for more sensitive information, or they ask you to pay for shipping and handling, I highly recommend that you avoid them.

Now that we have gone over what it is that you should avoid when searching for freebies online and why so many large companies are offering them to all of their potential customers, we can begin to discuss the best ways for you to go about searching for them.

There are basically three effective techniques that are used to locate these freebies. The first of which involves going to the source of the samples. As we discussed before, the source of most legitimate free product samples is the manufacturers. It stands to reason that many samples would be located at these company's websites. You should begin by making a long list of as many manufacturers as you can think of and being finding their websites online.

Once you arrive at these various company's websites, begin looking for any promotions. Some of these websites will be offering free samples and some will not. The trick is to visit these websites on a regular basis. You see, a company will usually begin to offer samples as they come out with new product lines, this happens more often then you may think. Just because they do not have a sample to offer today does not mean that they will not next week. I would recommend visiting these sites at least twice a month in the search for new free product samples.

The next method that we are going to discuss in regards to locating the newest free samples is to visit free sample blogs. These are blogs that completely revolve around freebies, many of them are run by mothers who are just trying to save money and get the most out of every dollar for their families.

You can easily locate many of these blogs by using Google's blog search. You may have to go through several of these sites before you can find a few that are worth keeping. Once you have a list of a few sample blogs, they will provide you with information as to where you can find the latest freebies for years to come. It is also a good idea to visit several of these blogs as they will not all have the same freebies.

The last free sample gather technique that we are going to go over today involves finding forums that revolve around freebies and frugal living. The great thing about a forum is that the content that you come across is provided by a large group of people. There are very few free product samples that are not found by at least a few of the members. This method may very well be the easiest and most effective way to get the latest freebies. You can find these blogs in much the same way that you would find free sample related blogs.

As you can clearly see there are many free product samples online and if you know how to go about looking for them, you will have no trouble at all keeping your mailbox filled with the latest freebies. Hope you enjoyed and good luck!
